HUMAN CENTERED COMMUNICATION
What began as a product launch became a question about something much larger: how do we communicate the value of natural daylight?
Not as a product feature. Not as a technical specification. But as a human experience.
When we began developing the launch film for Solatube’s new series, we found ourselves returning to a simple truth: light shapes how we live.
It influences our mood, our energy, our wellbeing, our connection to the spaces around us.
The challenge wasn’t explaining daylight. The challenge was expressing what daylight means. That realization shifted the entire creative direction.
A STRATEGIC SHIFT
Instead of starting with products and features, we started with something more fundamental:
“Light. A whisper of energy.”
From there, the film became an exploration of the relationship between light, architecture, nature, and human experience.
It was incredibly rewarding to see this direction embraced by the Solatube team and ultimately launch internationally with the support of Kingspan leadership — our sincere thanks to everyone involved in the project.
The experience reinforced something we have believed for many years: the strongest technical innovations are often the ones that connect most deeply to human life.
AN INTERNATIONAL CAMPAIGN
Solatube International, part of the $12bn Kingspan Group, is the world leader of optical daylighting technologies, revolutionizing the way that daylight is delivered into a building.
The film was premiered in Mexico City in April 2026 for the launch and subsequent promotion of Solatube’s new Brighten Up™ line of innovative skylight products, enabling illumination of indoors spaces by the full range of natural daylight.
The film was produced in seven versions:

PRODUCTION NOTES
All visuals, narration and music of this film were created using a range of AI tools — with over a thousand video generations and hundreds of prompt refinements to find the right tone, texture, and emotional register. Editing, grading, titles/payoffs and sound design followed a traditional post-production workflow.
The result is something we’re genuinely proud of: a piece where the tools fade away, because the craft was in service of the story.
This kind of work — strategic communication, human centered cinematic storytelling, and a deep generative AI pipeline — is what we built Wild Frontier Studio to do.
We’ve spent years creating award-winning strategic communications, media production and brand development for large international organizations, and the integration of generative AI into that process hasn’t replaced our experience. It’s expanded what’s possible with it.
